How To Use The Brand Deal CRM

If you manage a lot of creators, keeping track of various brand pitches, active campaigns, ongoing deliverables can be a headache.


Pillar's Brand Deal CRM is the perfect tool for tracking all of your ongoing influencer campaigns. We've developed a really simple system to keep you organized.


Before diving into the feature, let's get on the same page about definitions:

  • A Campaign is a brand deal partnership over a certain period of time (with a certain # of creators).
  • An Activation is a deal between one creator and the brand inside of the Campaign.
  • A Deliverable is a task the creator needs to perform for the brand

Navigate to Brand Deals > Deal CRM and click the Create Campaign button on the right:

Give your campaign a title and enter brand details like logo + name and click Save:

You'll see the first Campaign added to your CRM:

Click the campaign to open it up. Pillar breaks down brand deal campaigns by several "stages": Offer > In Progress > Awaiting Payment > Completed and Paid

Click the Create Activation button on the right to add an Activation. Make sure you select the creator, campaign and stage. Also be sure to add important dates, metrics like Deal Value, and agency percentage on the deal:


Once you've added your activation - feel free to add a status tag or Notes:

You can also click the +Add Deliverable button to keep track of the exact tasks/posts/shoutouts the creator needs to do for the Activation:
