Connecting Stripe 🏦

Connect your Stripe account to your Pillar account to get paid out when you earn revenue on the platform! Stripe is Pillar's primary method of paying creators, so transactions through Stripe are faster than PayPal payouts. If you'd like to to connect PayPal instead, here is our guide on that (nearly identical) process.

Here's how to connect Stripe with Pillar:

On the left sidebar, click Earnings and make sure you are under Sales. Then click the large blue button Connect Stripe for Payouts on the center of your screen.

Follow a series of prompts to connect your Pillar to Stripe. This will involve sending a text verification code and a verification email to the address linked to your Pillar account. The email verification link should look like the one below:

After verifying your email, you'll see a security code that can be used to unlock/recover your Stripe account if necessary. Make sure you save this code!

Follow the next prompts in the popup; they should be fairly straightforward. You will have to create a Stripe account, add in several pieces of personal information, such as a phone number, address, and the last 4 digits of your SSN for verification purposes. Then, you'll be prompted to log in to your bank so you can transfer funds between Stripe and your bank account.

Once you see a red button show up after clicking on Settings and then Payments, you can confirm that everything has been set up successfully.
